Overview
A commissioned project for a currently unannounced 3D platforming game in development, where I was tasked with designing and creating the blockout for the initial first level of the game with a focus on mechanic introductions, semi-linear pathing, and the potential for speedrunnable optimisation.
What I Did

Designed and sketched level layout

Created digital overview map for feedback and iteration

Produced blockout in Unity 3D engine, using terrain tools and primitive objects

Altered design and blockout with speed as feedback was received, and playtesting revealed areas for improvment and alterations
