2024 | Level Designer & Writer

Engine: Godot

​A 2D platformer with a focus on vertical level navigation. Taking gameplay mechanics and recontextualizing to provide fresh puzzles, and testing the player's growing skills.

My Tasks:

  • Design levels highlighting unique game movement

  • Write dialogue and implement in-engine

  • Collaborating with programmers and artists to capture design intentions

  • Playtesting with team and tracking known issues

  • Created custom cutscenes

2024 | Solo Developer

Engine: Godot

An emergent narrative 2D platformer developed as a solo project in Godot. Inspired by the Cthulu-esque mythos, evoking a dark and tense atmosphere.

My Tasks:

  • Designed game mechanics around central theme 'as-small-as-possible'

  • Scripted player movement and interactions using GDScript

  • Designed a continuous level with a focus on platforming and navigation.​

Monarch

2023 | Solo Developer

Engine: Twine

A text-based branching narrative. Assuming the leadership as a new 'Kavaar', the player leads their kingdom in a desperate defense against an unknown enemy.

​

My Tasks:

  • Designed an immersive world with rich history for the player to uncover.

  • Outlined key player decisions, with narrative consequences.

  • Built gold and renown systems for the player to balance through gameplay.

  • Conducted playtests and iterated on player feedback.

A single player campaign styled level blockout built within Halo Infinite. The design explored framing key points of interest using the landscape, directing the player's movement through the level, and teaching mechanics in a coherent manner.

Lokir's Tomb

​

A short dungeon mod developed for Skyrim, using available assets and tools to create a linear experience from exploration, combat, to the penultimate boss confrontation and reward.
